Leroy Marrow

Leroy Marrow Jr.

The IBP Family has lost a good friend. A long time IBP lifter Leroy Marrow has passed away. He had been fighting cancer for some time. We saw Leroy on March 10 in Warrenton at the bench press meet. He was smiling the way he always seemed to be. We will miss him. Our condolences go out to the General Marrow Family as well as the William Marrow Family.

LEROY MARROW, JR. 49 of 543 Whitten Avenue died March 22, 2012 at Maria Parham Hospital.

He was born in Vance County and the son of Ida Mae Marrow and the late Leroy Marrow, Sr.

He was educated in the Vance County Public Schools and a 1982 graduated of Vance Senior High.  He joined Oak Level United Church of Christ at an early age.

Survivors include is mother, Ida Marrow of Henderson, N. C.; two brothers, General Grant Marrow, Sr. of Louisburg, N.C., and William Thomas Marrow of Raleigh, N.C.
